Event Mission

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most celebrated and cherished festivals in India and among Indian communities worldwide. It signifies the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. At Bihari Connect UK, we embrace the spirit of Diwali with a mission that goes beyond traditional celebrations. Our mission is to illuminate hearts and minds by fostering a deeper understanding of this beautiful festival, its significance, and its universal message of hope and renewal.

"The Legend of Diwali: Triumph of Light over Darkness"

Once upon a time, in the ancient city of Ayodhya, there lived a virtuous and beloved prince named Rama. He was the embodiment of righteousness and was adored by the people of the kingdom. However, one day, a terrible calamity struck the kingdom. Rama's beloved wife, Sita, was abducted by the demon king Ravana and taken to his fortress in Lanka.

Rama was devastated by the loss of Sita, and the entire kingdom mourned her absence. Determined to rescue his beloved wife and bring her back, Rama embarked on a perilous journey with his loyal brother, Lakshmana, and an army of warriors.

After a long and arduous battle, Rama finally confronted Ravana in a fierce and epic showdown. With the blessings of Lord Hanuman and the guidance of Lord Rama, goodness triumphed over evil, and Rama defeated the demon king, rescuing Sita from captivity.

The people of Ayodhya were overjoyed at the return of their prince and his wife. They celebrated their homecoming by lighting oil lamps and decorating the entire city with colorful rangoli designs. The radiant light from these lamps illuminated every corner of Ayodhya, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and the triumph of good over evil.

The day of Rama's return, known as "Diwali" or "Deepavali," became a day of great significance and celebration. It signifies the victory of righteousness, the return of love and happiness, and the dispelling of darkness from our lives. Diwali is a time when people light lamps, burst fireworks, exchange gifts, and offer prayers to seek blessings for a prosperous and harmonious life.

Our events are designed to inspire individuals, teams, and communities by showcasing innovation, creativity, and new ideas. We curate speakers, sessions, and activities that challenge conventional thinking and ignite the imagination.
